I remember Rod being top of the bill at Reading festival in the early 70s at the height of his pop fame. We long haired prog rockers had had a fantastic day and were all ready to leave as Rod took to the stage. Unfortunately the organisers didn’t expect a mass exodus as their top of the bill took to the stage and only a narrow gap was available to leave the arena so it took some time to get out. As thousands were attempting to leave, streams of well groomed pop kids were flooding in just for Stewart. Bizarre 😅

You should of used dated photos of all four from 1967, and not started with Peter Green's name until you actually see his photo like you did with the other three. But with that artistic criticism aside a Great Blues Song By Four Great Musicians, during those '60s so many great British Blues coming out of England. 🎸🎤🎸🥁....👍

This is without any doubt the Blues Guitar Olymp. Peter Green is there alongside Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Albert and Freddie King. Already with John Mayall he was better than Clapton. He never want to be a star, and this horrible LSD trip in May 1970 in Munic was the tragic end of his mesmeric genius for the music and the Blues. So sad what happens after that with him....

I do remember dancing to this at a party under the moon outside of town.
